Raid Tier
From Liquid Courage Wiki
The Raider tier of membership is filled with restrictions and benefits. It is the core membership whose responsibility is to enable the guild to progressively move forward in content. There are a limited number of “Raider Tier” slots, 20 (2 tanks, 6 healers, 6 melee DPS (2 tank offspec) and 6 ranged DPS (3 heal offspec)). The officers do count against this number and as stated in their section are required to meet the criteria.
Benefits
- Raiders have the highest drafting priority for guild content raid signups.
- Raiders get a vote on who gets moved to the Raid Tier should there be an open slot.
- Raiders have priority on Epic Gems, Legendary items, limited supply crafting materials, and crafting patterns that drop in raid instances
- Raiders may bring alts to certain raids see Raiding with your ALTs
- Raiders will have access to guild repairs for all scheduled guild content raids.
- Raiders will have free access to enchanting materials in the guild bank. You may request these via PM or in game mail to the RMO Loot Officer
Requirements
- Must maintain 75% attendance to guild content raids
- Must be level 85
- Must be an open slot in your role
- Though there is no gear requirement it is your responsibility to keep high end enchants, resist gear at appropriate levels, etc. Ignorance is not an excuse, if you are unsure if your gear is adequate just ask.
- Must follow the requirements of Member Tier
- You are expected to be at all raids you are online for, choosing to pvp or play alternates on guild content raid nights is ground for demotion to Member Tier
Raid & Veteran Tier Expectations
Our Raid Tier & Veteran Tier is the core of our raiding team and we’re looking for those with the commitment to raiding as evidenced by:
- Attendance:
Raid tier-Ability to attend raids with at least 70% raid attendance. 70% raid attendance on a rolling six week basis for Raid Tier. This is defined as attending 70% of the 25 man raids on our defined raid days, which are Mondays and Tuesdays. Thursday raids are optional attendance. If a raid is rescheduled to a non defined raid day, you get credit for the raid, but it doesn’t count against you. That could mean that your raid attendance exceeds 100% if you attended all raids including those on non-defined raid days. Note: The DKP attendance tracking does not track this accurately.
Veteran Tier-For raiders who cannot make 70% attendance but must not go let raid attendance go inactive for more than 60 days.
The following applies to both Raid Tier and Veteran Tier: Ability to be attend the majority of the duration of those raids. (Typically two hours). Being on time to raids or taking the necessary steps if not (notification of their e.t.a. and parking outside the zone). Being on time means in the zone, buffed & ready to start pulling at 9pm. Not finishing up your daily quests or finishing up your heroics.
Attend any guild content raid regardless of day if online (defined raid day or not). If guild content raid is in progress you should be there. PVPing or playing alts when the guild is in a guild content raid is not permitted and grounds for immediate demotion. The attendance requirement for any guild content raid in progress is irrespective of your raid attendance. If a guild content raid is in progress you should be there.
- Competence:
Having spent time to upgrade their gear and adding enchants, gems, etc. Having the necessary resist gear. Having different gear for different roles needed by your class. Warriors, paladins, and druids with a tanking set is an example. Those who are able to competently play their own class, know their class role in raids and able to assign tasks in their class if necessary. Healers are expected to be able to dispense healing assignments and hunters and tanks are expected to pull, etc. Those with an excellent understanding of other classes and roles not just their own.
- Progression Oriented, Analysis & Feedback:
Lastly we need raid & veteran tier members who are able to analyze an encounter and provide relevant feedback when necessary. You're not being asked to lead the raid, but at least provide a window into difficulties you're facing when asked. Examples would be:
(Dps) Why did you die? (Healers) Why did your target die? (Tanks) Why was your target running around smashing the raid?
Instead cueing the sound of crickets when asked maybe:
"I was cleaved in half and stomped to death or I broke my finger missing the (insert your aggro reducing ability) key" "I was silenced/interrupted" or "I was dead" "That mob is immune to taunt" or "You guys attacked before the call!"
We expect and encourage raid and veteran tier members to discuss strategy on the forums or to offer suggestions to the RMO during raids. Please note, only the RMO or an Officer or a player designated by raid leadership should be calling out directions during a raid.
